Summer offers lots of fun and new experiences.
Imagine you went to a summer camp like Katie, the girl from your textbook. Tell us about your holidays there.
Tell us where you went,
how long you stayed at the camp,
the activities you did
the people you met,
the places you visited,
your feelings,
the best and worst things that happened to you.
Leave a message to other teenagers who would like to try.
Don't forget: use paragraphs and the simple past tense of the verbs!

An amazing experience
ReplyDeleteThis summer was unique. I went to a camp in California. I stayed there for about fifteen days.
I really enjoyed it. It was the best experience of my life, I did so many activities!
I did horseback riding, rock climbing, I went to the beach, I also went to some spectacular swimming pools, I even made a boat trip up the river ...
I met some great people. At the beginning of the week I did not know anyone, but I'm not shy, soon I was talking to everyone, and I realized they were fantastic people, I'll never forget them.
It was so good to be there, living with beautiful people inside and out. I miss the people, the conviviality, the activities ...
On the last day, I cried so much, it seemed like something was dying inside me, I hugged everyone, and went to see the whole camp, and remember every moment I spent there.
But of course not everything was good: at the beginning I cried a lot, I missed my friends and family, no one was there to support me and to talk to me, but eventually I socialized with everyone, and I felt happier. At the end I had a great time.
It was fantastic, I’ll say it over again, it was a nice experience!

ReplyDeleteThis summer holidays I went to a Summer camp in Madrid, Spain. I stayed there for a month and met many new friends. The activities were fantastic.
I played lot of games, for example, volleyball, tennis and football. We went to the swimming pool some times and took many photos together.
In this summer camp I met many teenagers from many different countries. They were very nice and funny.
I loved to visit some monuments and to go sightseeing. My favourite building was the Palace of Madrid. I liked to visit the Theme Park “Parque de Atracciones de Madrid” and the zoo, too.
I felt very happy because my parents let me live this experience.
It was the best holidays of my life. The bad part was being away from my parents.
Kandersteg
ReplyDeleteMy last holidays were spent in a “summer camp” with the scouts.
The camp is in Kandersteg, Switzerland.
Switzerland is a very beautiful country, whit many forests lakes castles and more.
Kandersteg is the international scout center.
I stay in Kandersteg for 3 weeks
I was with my patrol and the chief of scouts. Without parents.
I met many people and did a lot of funny things as climbing a mountain, canoeing, long walks in the mountain,
dance games, sing …
For each activity were that was I receiving an insignia. I did many activities but the most difficult is the climbing the mountain.
The air in Kandersteg is so pure that we can clean your soul.
I love so much this experience, I want come back to Kandersteg.
